ROLLER DYE PEN (New Model)
The new Roller Dye Pen is a product created from the feedback of our customers and leather artisan friends. It is a rigorously 100% Made in Italy product and this allows us to guarantee the highest quality of the object, materials, design, accessories and packaging.
The main innovation introduced with this Paint Applicator is the interchangeability of the rotating head. The body of the pen is made of solid aluminium with a stainless steel quick coupling and a steel ball locking system to ensure maximum fluidity in the rotation of the head.
The product can be purchased with a single rotating head or with both MEDIUM and THIN versions.

The first focus of the development of the Roller Dye Pen was to create an object which, from the very first moment, you perceive the quality and solidity of the instrument.
The body of the Pen is made of solid aluminium with a stainless steel quick coupling system on the head, for a weight of 42.5 grams, against the 28 grams (total, body plus head) of the old version. This difference in weight ensures better stability during the application process.
The steel ball locking system ensures smooth head rotation. This is another key feature for an applicator as it is crucial for the result of the application.
The heads are made of pure brass to ensure high resistance to atmospheric corrosion and therefore long durability. They are made by CAD/CAM turning, available in two formats, THIN and MEDIUM. Both sizes have 16 teeth to ensure that the paint does not drip easily and at the same time have a good grip on the edge to be dyed.
Both versions have an initial cone diameter of 8mm, what changes is the final diameter: 1.5mm for the THIN version and 3.0mm for the MEDIUM version. It follows that the THIN version has a more accentuated taper than the MEDIUM version, this to dye even the most difficult-to-reach spots of leather creations.
The quick coupler allows the rotating head to be replaced quickly. On the hub of the rotating head there are two grooves, which allow to set the head more or less apart from the body, in order to have the easiest positioning, depending on the object to which we have to apply the paint.
