LEATHER DYE THINNER
Leather dye thinner is a product designed to be used in exclusive combination with the Maxcraft Leather Dye, in case you need to brighten up the color tone of the dye.
The thinner should be mixed together with the Maxcraft Leather dye. More quantity is added and more clear the color will become. The product has been designed to not affect the technical characteristics of the dye, therefore there are no limits to the amount of thinner that can be added to the Leather dye.
To achieve the desired color tone, we recommend to gradually add small amounts of diluent until the required result is achieved.
Leather dye thinner has a creamy liquid appearance in a beige color. Since it is not possible to create a white aniline in nature, the Leather dye base has been made available in order to allow the leathercrafts to correct the color autonomously. This can happen when particular shades, that are on on our color chart, are needed. The addition of this diluent does not change or alter the viscosity of the paint. This can only happen if you apply those colors on a light base
Due to its nature, the Leather dye thinner should only be used in combination with the Leather Dyes, because the product alone has no effect on the leather.
To achieve the desired color tone, we recommend to gradually add small amounts of diluent until the required result is achieved. We also recommend to stir the mixture very well and applying it on the leather to check the result.
Writing the formulations in a notebook can allow you to reproduce the tone almost identically.
