THE ECO-LEATHER BASECOAT was developed to meet the requirements arising from the use of materials of different natures. Materials such as imitation leather, synthetics or other. These materials can often be considered difficult to finish in particular due to the adhesion challenges that traditional dyeing paints can encounter when applied on these materials. The ECO-LEATHER Basecoat was developed precisely to overcome these difficulties, ensuring adequate preparation of the leather edge for subsequent applications.
Compared to the traditional Dense Edge Basecoat, it has a lower consistency, so this may require more than one application to achieve the same result as on the leather, but this still guarantees adequate adhesion and a high quality result.
It is perfectly compatible with the other dyeing paints in the GIARDINI range, so all coloured edge paints such as BASIC EDGE PAINT, DENSE EDGE PAINT or the new DULL can be used over it.
